Fine Contemporary Violins, Violas and Cellos
Is that what they call a vocation, what you do with joy as if you had a fire in your heart, the devil in your body?
Josephine Baker
My creative vision has much to do with my parents, who are both artists; I grew up
surrounded by paintings and sculpture.
I started my violin training at the school in Red Wing, Minnesota, before going on to apprentice
with some of Salt Lake City's top luthiers. In 1997 I moved to New York City where I worked in
several shops including seven years for David Segal Violins, Ltd. In the spring of 2005, I
set off on my own to focus on new making.
